With AI and ChatGPT intoxicating our minds, it is sure to stay. Regrettably, this trend has led to job losses, as corporations increasingly prioritize AI over human labor.
This is collective labour, and no party can blame the other.
What can be done?
Develop skills that are ahead of the market. Does that imply that everyone should be proficient in AI? It may not be feasible. Skills such as critical thinking, logical thinking, basic statistics, certain software, problem solving, and data management are essential.
Stress is a significant factor that affects and will continue to affect young individuals, who have the advantage of utilizing AI over their cognitive abilities. Consequently, physical, mental, and emotional well-being must be prioritized and given utmost importance. Meditation will play a crucial role in mitigating stress not only in the workplace but also in personal life.
Vision - is important to have a vision, a sense of purpose that will give meaning to your life. This applies to both people who are still working and who might have lost jobs.
Habits - Developing habits such a journaling, practicing gratitude, self-healing, and joining support groups that nurture healthy living can be beneficial.
Hobbies - Developing a hobby - art, music, dance, poetry, gardening, photography, cooking, sewing can make a huge difference in the quality of our life.
