Diversity and inclusion

Even though things are changing in India and India is advancing in the gender revolution with companies recognizing the diversity and inclusion space, it is still at a snail’s pace. The patriarchal system is deeply rooted to the extent that women themselves are ignorant of such aspects.

In the Global Gender Gap Index 2023 rankings https://www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_GGGR_2023.pdf, out of 146 countries, India ranks 127


Even for India, it will be difficult to achieve gender equality by 2030 – the deadline set out by both the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and by the Commission on the Status of Women in 2015.
